When is the help of a neurologist necessary?

Neurology deals with diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system. A neurologist helps to recognize and diagnose disorders of the nervous system and formulates a therapeutic proposal. In more serious cases, he or she helps with aftercare, performs mandatory check-ups, and determines a rehabilitation plan.

What tests are needed?

Our specialist will ask you about your previous illnesses and any serious illnesses in your family. After that, they will perform a thorough physical examination, which in many cases is sufficient to determine the initial diagnosis.
In certain cases, laboratory tests and imaging tests prescribed by a specialist are required, which we will gladly arrange for our patients at our partner institutions. The tests (CT, X-ray, MRI, ENG, Ultrasound) are subject to a fee at our partner institution, our reception can provide information about the fees.

What should I bring with me?

Social security (TAJ) and address card
results of previous examinations (outpatient sheet, final report, specialist opinion)
previous imaging test results (CD, DVD disc too!)

What kind of therapy can I use?

In our clinic, trained physiotherapists help you recover and improve your condition. We also use modern injection and infusion treatments. If necessary, our neurologist will prescribe medication.
